I’ve been sewing and crafting for over 40 years—a passion that began when I was about 12 years old. As a kid, I was always creating something, from handmade projects to tiny Barbie doll clothes that brought me so much joy. In middle school, I was introduced more formally to these skills through home economics classes, where sewing and cooking were part of the curriculum, alongside shop classes.

Creativity has been a constant thread in my life, but it didn’t stop there. Later in life, I discovered a love for photography, went on to earn a degree in the field, and eventually opened my own home portrait studio. What started as childhood curiosity has grown into a lifelong journey of making, learning, and capturing the world through both fabric and lens.
